LG Q9 with Water-resistant body, military-grade durability announced at 499,400 Korean Won (US$ 444)
The smartphone manufacturer LG announced its latest smartphone LG Q9 in Korea at 499,400 Korean Won (US$ 444 / Rs. 31,120 approx.). It is the re-brand of LG G7 Fit that was announced in August at IFA 2018.
The smartphone LG Q9 with metal frame and glass back sports 6.1-inch QHD+ 19.5:9 FullVision Display with the resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels. It has 4GB LPDDR4x RAM, internal storage capacity of 64GB, which can be expandable up to 2TB via microSD card slot. It comes with the dimension of 153.2 x 71.9 x 7.9mm; and weighs 159g. It also features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
It has gained IP68 ratings, which makes it dust and water resistance body and also passed the MIL-STD 810G test ( U.S. Military Standard Drop Test) , which makes it to survive drop tests of over 8 feet onto a rough concrete surface with no damage to the case or phone.
It is armed with Quad-core Snapdragon 821 processor with Adreno 530 GPU and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with LG UX.
The camera section of the device LG Q9 includes a rear camera of 16MP with f/2.2 aperture,76-degree wide-angle lens, LED flash and a front-facing camera of 8MP with 80-degree wide-angle lens, f/1.9 aperture.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C 3.1 and supports 3.5mm audio jack, 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC, Boombox Speaker, FM Radio.
It is backed up by 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.
The users can get the device LG Q9 in Carmine Red, New Aurora Black and New Moroccan Blue colors, and the company will start its sale from 11th January in Korea.
