Xiaomi Mi Max 2 likely to be announced in May 2017
A couple of days ago, the upcoming device Xiaomi Mi Max 2 codenamed “Xiaomi Oxygen” spotted on GFXBench with leaked specifications. Now according to the latest rumor, the upcoming phablet Xiaomi Mi Max 2 will be powered by Snapdragon 626chipset .Earlier there was rumor that it will be powered by Snapdragon 660 Soc chipset.
According to the latest rumor, the upcoming phablet Xiaomi Mi Max 2 will sport 6.44-inch Full HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 4GB RAM , internal storage capacity of 64GB,which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot. It will be powered by 2.2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 626 14nm processor with Adreno 506 GPU and runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 7.1 (Nougat).
The device will include a 12MP rear camera with Sony IMX378 sensor, dual-tone LED flash and a front-facing camera of 5MP.
Connectivity wise, it will feature 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4 / 5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS and also will include Fingerprint sensor, infrared sensor. It will be powered by 5000mAh battery.
The exact date of its announcement is still unconfirmed, but it is expected that it will be announced in May, 2017.
