Huawei Nova 2 and Huawei Nova 2 Plus with dual rear cameras announced in China
Just after revealing a teaser image of the smartphone Huawei Nova 2 in Obsidian Black color, the smartphone manufacturer Huawei finally announced it along with big brother Huawei Nova 2 Plus in its home town China. The smartphones Huawei Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus are the successors of Nova and Nova Plus respectively that was announced last year.
Both the devices have almost similar specifications including the same design with metallic body, availability in five colors, connectivity options, camera sections . The smartphones have only difference in display size and battery capacity.
The smartphone Huawei Nova 2 sports Full HD LTPS 2.5D curved glass display of 5-inch with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It has 4GB RAM, dimension of 142.2×68.9×6.9mm and weighs 143g. It comes with internal storage capacity of 64GB, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot. It is armed with Octa-Core Kirin 659 processor with MaliT830-MP2 GPU and runs on run Android 7.0 (Nougat) with EMUI 5.1. It features Hybrid Dual –SIM functionality.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS / Glonass, USB Type-C and supports 3.5mm audio jack, AK4376A Hi-Fi audio chip with 3D sound for better audio experience.
The camera section of the smartphopne Huawei Nova 2 includes a 12MP rear camera with LED flash, PFAF, 1.25μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, secondary 8MP camera and has a front-facing camera of 20MP. It is backed up by 2950mAh battery.
It’s sibling Huawei Nova 2 Plus has Full HD LTPS 2.5D curved glass display of 5.5-inch with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels , dimension of 153.9×74.9×6.9mm and weighs 169g 4GB RAM. It features internal storage capacity of 128GB, which can be further expanded up to 128GB with microSD. It is powered by Octa-CoreKirin 659 processor with MaliT830-MP2 GPU and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) with EMUI 5.1. It comes with Hybrid Dual- SIM functionality.
The smartphone Huawei Nova 2 Plus features a 12MP rear camera with LED flash, PFAF, 1.25-micron pixel size, f/1.9 aperture, secondary 8MP camera and a front-facing camera of 20MP.

The smartphones Huawei Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus will be available in Aurora Blue, Grass Green, Gold, Obsidian Black and Rose Gold colors. The users can get the device Huawei Nova 2 at 2499 yuan (US$ 364 / Rs. 23510 approx.), and the other smartphone Nova 2 Plus costs 2899 yuan (US$ 423 / Rs. 27275 approx.). The pre-order for the devices are going on and the company will make it available for the Chinese market from 16th June, 2017.
