Samsung Galaxy Wide 2 launched in Korea @ 297,000 Korean won
The smartphone manufacturer Samsung launched its latest smartphone Samsung Galaxy Wide 2 with the model number of SM-J727S in South Korea at the cost of 297,000 Korean won (Rs 17,131). It is the successor of the Samsung Galaxy Wide that was announced in Korea in July, 2016.
The Samsung Galaxy Wide 2 (SM-J727S) sports a 5.5-inch HD display with the resolution of 720×1280 pixels with 2.5D curved glass on top. It has 2GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 16GB which can be further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card slot.
The smartphone Samsung Galaxy Wide 2 is armed with an octa-core 1.6GHz processor and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. It comes with the dimension of 151.5×76.4×8.6mm and weighs 170 grams.
The device Samsung Wide 2 features a rear camera of 13MP with f/1.9 aperture and a front-facing camera of 5MP. It is backed by a 3300mAh battery.
The company didn’t reveal its global launching date and its cost for other countries yet. Also the users have the option to get the device at discounted price of KRW 100,000 (around $90) via few mobile operators.
For your reference, the predecessor Samsung Galaxy Wide features 5.5” HD display with the resolutions of 1280 x 720 pixels, 2GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 8GB, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot. It is armed by 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor with Adreno 306 and it runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow).It has the dimension of 151.8 x 77.5 x 8.2mm and weighs 171g. The device has Dual –SIM functionality.
The smartphone includes a rear camera of 13MP with LED flash, f/2.1 aperture, 1080p video recording and front-facing camera of 5MP with f/2.2 aperture.
Connectivity wise, the device features 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ GLONASS. It is backed by 3000mAh battery.
