Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) leaked in press renders and specs
The upcoming smartphone Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) is likely to be announced soon, as the device leaked in press renders and detailed specifications. Earlier it was rumored to be Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro (2017) that was spotted on benchmarks. It will be successor of the Samsung Galaxy J2 (2017) that was launched in India in October, 2017 at Rs.7390.
As per rumored information , the smartphone Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) will sport a 5″ 540×960 Super AMOLED touchscreen, 1.5GB of RAM, and internal storage capacity of 16GB .It will be powered by the Snapdragon 425 chipset with a 1.4 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 processor and will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It will have dual-SIM functionality and weighs 153g.
The camera section of the device will feature a rear camera f 8MP and a front-facing camera of 5MP, both the cameras will have LED flash.
Connectivity wise, the unannounced smarphone Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) will include Bluetooth 4.2, LTE Cat.4 (up to 150Mbps down), and 802.11n Wi-Fi. It will be backed up by A 2,600 mAh replaceable battery, chargeable by a microUSB port.
The cost of the device is still not declared by the company yet, but it is expected that it will be available at around €115 in Russian market in coming days.
The predecessor Samsung Galaxy J2 (2017) sports a QHD display of 4.7” with the resolution of 540 x 960 pixels with a pixel density of 245 ppi, 1GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 8GB,which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The dimension of the device is 136 x 69 x 8.4 mm. It is armed with Exynos 3475 quad-core processor at 1.3GHz and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat).
The device includes a 5MP auto focus rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture, 720p HD video recording and a front-facing camera of 2MP f/2.4 aperture.
It is a dual-SIM smartphone which supports Bluetooth, Wifi, GPS, microUSB 2.0 and 4G-LTE connectivity and supports 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio. The device is backed up by a battery of 2000mAh.
The device also comes with a new feature called “Ultra Data Saving Mode” that would help the users to save up to 50% of data and doubles the standby time of the device.
