Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 leaked in renders with dual cameras
The upcoming smartphone Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has already spotted at TENAA in October last year and also received the China’s 3C certification last month and revealed the device in two versions including the mid-end and high-end models. The mid-end smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 630, 3GB RAM/32GB storage capacity and it will cost CNY1,499 (€190/$238), while the higher version will be priced at CNY1,799 (€230/$285). It will be the successor of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 that was launched in India in January this year.
Now the device Redmi Note 5 once again leaked in renders and showed very thin top and bottom bezels. A vertically-placed dual-camera setup can be seen just above the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The leaked renders hints likely to much close to the real models, but we can’t believe until the release of the original device.
According to the latest rumor, the unannounced smartphone Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 with aluminum body metal design will sport a 5.99” (2160 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 18:9 2.5D curved glass display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It will have 3GB RAM/32GB storage and 4GB RAM/64GB storage capacity, which can be expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot. It will be armed with a Snapdragon 636 chipset and will be powered by 2GHz Octa-Core processor and runs on Android Android 7.1.2 (Nougat) with MIUI 9. It will come with the dimension of 158.5 x 75.45 x 8.05mm; weighs 179.5g and will have Hybrid Dual- SIM functionality.
The camera section of the device Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will feature dual camera of 16 MP + 5 MP and a front camera of 8MP. It will support face recognition and will be backed by 4,100 mAh battery with 18W Fast Charge support.
There is expectation that both the models will be announced in coming MWC, 2018 event in gray black and blue colors.
It’s predecessor Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 comes with metallic body with chamfered edges and sports a Full HD display of 5.5-inch 2.5D curved glass display with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 2GB RAM with 16GB storage / 3GB RAM with 64GB storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot. It is powered by 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 14nm processor with Adreno 506 GPU and runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has the dimension of 151x76x8.45mm and weighs 175g.
The camera section of the device includes a 13MP rear camera with PDAF, Sony IMX258/Samsung S5K3L8 sensor, dual-tone LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture and a front-facing camera of 5MP with f/2.0 aperture, 85-degree wide-angle lens.
It features Fingerprint sensor on its rear and Infrared sensor. It comes with Hybrid Dual SIM functionality.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C connector. It is powered by 4000mAh battery.
It’s 2GB RAM with 32GB storage version costs Rs. 9999, while the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version priced at Rs. 10,999 and the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version costs Rs. 12,999.
