OnePlus 6 coming with 8GB RAM, 256GB storage -CEO Confirmed
The co-founder and the director of OnePlus Global Carl Pei has already confirmed that the upcoming smartphone will have a notch and also described its importance on the device recently. Now the CEO and the Founder of the company Pete Lau confirmed in the forum post that the device will come with 8GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 256GB and will be powered by Snapdragon 845 processor.
Pete Lau also added that that company is looking serious and for improving the performance of its flagship devices , it has organised a specialized team called Team FSE (Fast, Stable, Efficient).

Understanding the relationship between people and smartphones, we brainstormed with our community of OnePlus users to learn what the users want most – a flexible, light and quick experience. Keeping these parameters at heart, we have conceptualized the OnePlus 6. To make this experience a reality we have established within our ranks a special R&D unit, called Team FSE (Fast, Stable, Efficient). The one goal of this unit is to ensure that we can transcend the current norm with providing our users with what we believe to be a truly ‘burdenless’ user experience.
According to the latest rumor, the device OnePlus 6 will sport a 6.28-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2280 x 1080pixels, 6GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 128GB. It will be powered by Snapdragon 845chipset with 2.7 GHz processor and will run on Android 8.1(Oreo).
The camera section of the device OnePlus 6 will include a dual rear camera setup of 16MP and 20MP with f/1.7 aperture, LED flash and a front-facing camera of 20MP with f/2.0 aperture. It will be backed up by 3,450 mAh battery.
The smartphone OnePlus 6 will come with a notch, will have a 19:9 aspect ratio display. It will have a glass back and dual rear camera.
The company OnePlus has still covered the date of its announcement , but it is expected that it will be announced in Q2 2018 or may be this month.
It’s predecessor OnePlus 5 was announced in June last year and it has an Anodized Aluminum unibody metal design sports a 5.5-inch 1080p Optic AMOLED display (1920×1080 pixels) with DCI-P3 color coverage and has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB storage (UFS 2.1), and 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.1) internal storage capacity.
It is armed with 2.45GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 64-bit 10nm processor with Adreno 540 GPU and runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) with Oxygen OS. It has Dual-SIM functionality. It houses a ceramic fingerprint sensor embedded in its home button. The smartphone OnePlus has the measurement of 154.2×74.1×7.25mm and weighs 153g.
The camera section of the smartphone features a dual -rear camera of 16MP with dual LED Flash, Sony IMX398 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size, EIS, secondary 20MP camera with f/2.6 aperture, Sony IMX350 sensor, 1.0μm pixel size, 4K at 30fps, 1080p at 60 fps, 720p slow motion at 120fps and a front-facing camera of 16MP with Sony IMX371 sensor, 1.0μm pixel size, f/2.0 aperture.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO ), Bluetooth 5.0 aptX HD, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, USB Type-C, NFC and it is backed up by 3300mAh battery with Dash Charge (5V 4A).
