Nokia 2.1 Android Oreo (Go edition) with 4000mAh battery announced @ $ 115

The HMD Globa has announced its smartphone Nokia 2.1 Android Oreo (Go edition) at $ 115 (Rs. 7,801 approx.) along with Nokia 5.1. It is the successor of the Nokia 2 that was launched in India in October last year at Rs. 6999.
The smartphone Nokia 2.1 has has a polycarbonate back with rounded design and sports  a 5.5-inch HD screen with the resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels , anti-fingerprint coating. It has 1GB LPDDR3 RAM,internal storage capacity of  8GB , which can be further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot. It has the dimension of  153.7 x 77.7 x 9.35 mm and has dual-SIM functionality.

It is powered by 1.4GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 425 processor with Adreno 308 GPU and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition), upgradable to Android P.

The camera section of the device Nokia 2.1 includes an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED Flash and a front-facing camera of 5MP.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS and supports 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio,  Dual speakers . It is powered by 4100mAh battery.
The users will get the device in  Blue/Copper, Blue/Silver and Grey/Silver colors and the  company will make it available from July this year.

Its predecessor  Nokia 2 has a 6000 series aluminum frame and a polycarbonate back and it sports 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD LTPS LCD In-Cell Touch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 display protection. It has 1GB LPDDR3 RAM, internal storage capacity of 8GB, which can be further expandable up to 128GB with microSD.

It is armed with 1.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 212 processor with Adreno 304 GPU and runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) OS, upgradable to Android 8.0 (Oreo). It has dual-SIM functionality and dimension of 143.5 x 71.3 x 9.30 mm. It has a splash proof body with IP52 ratings.

Connectivity wise, it features 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS / GLONASS.
