Huawei Honor 9i (2018) with dual rear cameras announced in China
Last month an affordable smartphone Huawei Honor Play 7 was announced in China at 599 Yuan ($94). Now the smartphone manufacturer Huawei’s sub brand Honor announced one more smartphone Huawei Honor 9i (2018) with mid-end specifications in its home town.
The smartphone Huawei Honor 9i (2018) sports 5.84-inch Full HD+ 19:9 2.5D curved glass display with the resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels. It has 4GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 64GB / 128GB storage, which can be further expandable up to 256GB with microSD card slot. It has Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD) functionality, dimension of 149.2×71.8×7.7mm; and weighs 152g .
It is armed with Octa-Core Kirin 659 processor (4 xA53 at 2.36GHz + 4 x A53 at 1.7GHz) with MaliT830-MP2 GPU and runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo) with EMUI 8.0.
The camera section of the smartphone includes dual rear camera of 13MP with LED flash, secondary 2MP camera and a front-facing camera of 16MP.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS / GLONASS and supports 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio . It is backed up by 3000mAh battery.
The company has made it available in Black, Blue, Green and Purple colors. The 64GB version of the device costs 1399 yuan (US$ 218 / Rs. 14,640 approx.) , while the 128GB version is priced at 1699 yuan (US$ 265 / Rs. 17,780 approx.). The pre-order of the device is going on in China and it will be available from 7th June.
