Huawei Honor 8X Max with AI dual rear cameras, massive 5000mAh battery announced in China
The smartphone Huawei Honor 8X Max shared the same platform with Honor 8X during the announcement in China as it had hinted recently.
The smartphone Huawei Honor 8X Max sports 7.12-inch Full HD+ 2.5D curved glass display, 18.7:9 aspect ratio with the resolution of 2244×1080 pixels. It has 4GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB internal storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB storage capacity , which can be expandable up to 256GB via microSD card slot. It has Hybrid Dual SIM functionality, dimension of 177.57×86.24×8.13 mm; and weighs 210g.
It is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 660 14nm (Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) processor with Adreno 512 GPU and it is also armed with 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 14nm processor with Adreno 509 GPU and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with EMUI 8.2.
The camera section of the device Huawei Honor 8X includes dual 16MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 2MP secondary camera, f/2.4 aperture with AI scene recognition and a front-facing camera of 8MP with f/2.0 aperture .
Connectivity wise, it features Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS. It is backed up by a massive 5000mAh battery with fast charging . It has a fingerprint sensor on its back .
The smartphone Huawei Honor 8X will be available in Black, Blue and Red colors. The 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version costs 1499 yuan (US$ 219 / Rs. 15,745 approx.) and the 128GB storage version is priced at 1799 yuan (US$ 263 / Rs. 18,900 approx.).
The pre-order of the device is going on and the company will make it available in China from 11th September. The other version which is powered Snapdragon 660 processor with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage capacity will be available in the market from October this year.
