Nokia 7.1 coming with upgraded Anodroid 9.0 Pie , Geekbench reveals
The smartphone Nokia 7.1 already announced earlier of this month with Android 8.1 (Oreo) OS and now there is an information that will definitely give much relief to the users who were waiting for its upgradation to Android 9.0 Pie , as the device revealed at Geekbench with upgraded OS.
As you know the existing smartphone Nokia 7.1 with 6000 series aluminium frame sports 5.84-inch Full HD+ HDR 10 display with the resolution of 2244 x 1080 pixels ,19:9 aspect ratio,having Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has 3GB LPPDDR4x RAM with 32GB (eMMC 5.1) internal storage / 4GB LPPDDR4x RAM with 64GB (eMMC 5.1) internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 400GB via microSD card slot. It has the dimension of 149.7 x 71.18 x 7.99mm; weighs 160g and has Hybrid-dual SIM functionality. It has a fingerprint sensor on its back.
It is armed with 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 14nm processor with Adreno 509 GPU and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo), which can be upgradable to Android 9.0 (Pie) in coming days.
The company has also used the ‘PureDisplay’ tech, which results in the improvement over the viewing experience with better contrast ratio (1,000,000:1), which makes the users to view more clear along with the improved color quality.
The camera section of the device Nokia 7.1 includes dual 12MP (RGB) rear camera with dual LED flash, f/1.8 aperture,1.28 um pixel size, ZEISS optics, 5MP (Monochrome) secondary rear camera with f/2.4 aperture, 1.12um pixel size and a front-facing camera of 8MP with f/2.0 aperture, 84-degree FOV.
Connectivity wise, it features Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, Type-C 2.0, NFC and also supports 3.5 mm headphone jack, FM Radio, Nokia OZO audio. It is backed up by 3060mAh battery with fast charging .
There is also expectation that HMD Global will upgrade Nokia 6.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 8 and and Nokia 8 Sirocco to Android Pie last of this month.
