Apple iPhone XR additional production stopped !

A series of three smartphones namely Apple iPhone XR , iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max were announced in September this year. Now within this period all the three smartphones didn’t do outstanding business as expected. Only the Apple iPhone XS Max gets slightly better appreciation from the users.
So , due to worse demand the Company has decided to stop the production of the iPhone XR and hence in this regard, it has advised its smartphone assembler partner Foxconn and Pegatron to suspend the additional production of the smartphone.
Earlier, about 60 assembly lines for the iPhone XR was started, but now  it reduced to around 45 production lines and now according to the latest report, the Apple asked the existing units not need to manufacture that many by now. Now the production goes down to 20% to 25% from the initial position, which means the Foxconn have to produce 100,000 less units daily after seeing the new demand.
However, the demand for its existing one year old models Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are going higher and the company  has received the combined order of around 5 million more units and raised the target production of both the models from 20 million to 25 million this quarter. The reason for such good response from both the old models are due to their cost , which are 20 percent cheaper than the Apple XR, which comes with price tag of $749.
