Honor Watch Magic with Heart rate monitor, GPS announced in China @ 899 yuan (US$ 129)
The smartphone Huawei Honor Magic 2 shared the same platform with the smartwatch Honor Watch Magic during announcement at an event in China. The Honor Watch Magic has much similarities to Huawei Watch GT that was announced in the last month.
The Honor Watch Magic sports 1.2-inch AMOLED touch display with the resolution of 390 x 390 pixels , pixel density of 326 PPI . It has the dimension of 42.8 × 42.8 × 9.8mm; and weighs 32.g.
Its body is made of 316L cold forged stainless steel and has a dual-crown design with 9.8mm stainless steel case. It has a heart rate sensor on the back with TruSeen 3.0 heart rate monitoring technology which tracks the user’s active and resting heart rate along with all the physical activities including indoor exercises, outdoor running, mountain climbing, cycling, and open water swimming. It also features TruRelax Technology which analyses the heart rate variability and indicates the stress status ,so that the users can take care of their health.
The smartwatch is certified by the 5ATM standards, which supports its water resistance body up to 50 metres in depth for 10 minutes and allows the users low-velocity and shallow-water activities, including swimming.
It is armed with ARM M4 SoC chipset with 16MB RAM and 128MB internal storage capacity. It comes with Bluetooth 4.2 that connects to Android 4.4 and above iOS 9.0 devices.
Connectivity wise, it supports GPS, GLONASS, and GALILEO, NFC for Huawei Pay and it is powered by 178mAh battery with up to 7 days battery life.
The users can get the Honor Watch Magic in Black color with Silicon Band that at the cost of 899 yuan (US$ 129 / Rs. 9,500 approx.) and the Watch in Silver color with Leather Band is priced at 999 yuan (US$ 143 / Rs. 10,560 approx.).
