Samsung Galaxy J4 Core with Android Go Edition launched
The smartphone manufacturer Samsung announced its latest affordable Samsung Galaxy J4 Core Android Go smartphone , as the device showed in the company’s official website. It is the successor to the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core Android Oreo (Go edition) smartphone that was launched in India in August this year at Rs. 6190.
However, it has higher resolution, bigger display , huge battery and more storage capacity comparative to its predecessor Samsung Galaxy J2 Core.
The smartphone Samsung Galaxy J4 Core sports a 6-inch HD+ TFT display with a resolution of 720×1480 pixels, 1GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 16GB, which can be further expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card slot. It has the dimension of 160.6×76.1×7.9 mm and weighs 177g. The device also features various apps such as Assistant Go, Files Go, Gboard, Gmail Go, Google Go, Maps Go, YouTube Go.
It is armed with 1.4GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition).
The camera section of the device Samsung Galaxy J4 Core includes a rear camera of 8MP with f/2.2 aperture and a front-facing camera of 5MP with f/2.2 aperture.
Connectivity wise, it features Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, a USB 2.0 port, GPS, Glonass , BeiDou and also supports accelerometer and proximity sensors. It is packed up by a 3,300mAh battery.
The cost and its availability is still unconfirmed, it will be known in coming days.
As we know the predecessor Samsung Galaxy J2 Core comes with a 5-inch QHD (540×960 pixels) TFT display. It has 1GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 8GB, which can be further expandable up to 8GB via microSD card. It has the dimension of 143.4×72.1×8.9mm and weighs 154 grams.
It is armed with a quad-core Exynos 7570 SoC processor and runs on Android Oreo (Go edition).
The camera section of the device Samsung Galaxy J2 Core includes a rear camera of 8MP with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and a front-facing camera of 5MP and also features a Beauty Mode that supports the users to capture better portraits and selfies.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and also supports 3.5mm headphone jack. It includes an accelerometer and a proximity sensor but lacks of Face unlock and fingerprint sensor. It is backed up by a 2,600mAh battery.
