Sharp Aquos R2 Compact with dual-notch design announced in Japan
The Japanese smartphone manufacturer Sharp announced its latest smartphone Sharp Aquos R2 Compact in Japan .
The smartphone Sharp Aquos R2 Compact with dual-notch design sports 5.2-inch Full HD+ 19:9 IGZO LCD 2.5D curved glass display with the resolution of 2,280 x 1,080 pixels having Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has 4GB LPDDR4X RAM, internal storage capacity of 64GB (UFS), which can be further expandable up to 512GB via microSD card slot. It has the dimension of 131 x 64 x 9.3mm; and weighs 131g. It has water and dust resistant body with (IPX 5 – IPX8 / IP6X) ratings. It has a fingerprint sensor on its bottom and also features face recognition .
It is armed with 2.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 845 64-bit 10nm processor with Adreno 630 GPU and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie).
The camera section of the device Sharp Aquos R2 Compact includes a rear camera of 22.6MP with LED Flash, f/1.9 aperture, OIS and a front-facing camera of 8MP.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with GLONASS, USB Type-C and it is backed up by 2,500mAh battery with fast charging.
The users can get the device Sharp Aquos R2 Compact in Smoke Green, Deep White and Pure Black colors and the company will make it’s availability for the Japanese users in late January 2019 and the cost of the device is still not declared by the company , it will be known on its launching.
