Samsung Galaxy Fold  foldable smartphone with dual display, 6 cameras, 12GB RAM announced

Finally, the tech giant Samsung surfaced its dream project foldable smartphone Samsung Galaxy Fold on the floor after its announcement , at its fixed schedule as confirmed recently. You can say it a project as it took over eight years to come in reality.

The device has flexible body due to the presence of the new polymer layer, which makes the display around 50% thinner than the typical or existing display of the smartphones. The company has used a hinge pattern with multiple interlocking gears which provides smooth less opening and closing and also makes the smartphone a magnificent look .

The foldable smartphone Samsung Galaxy Fold sports 7.3-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED as main display with 4.2:3 aspect ratio and 4.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED  as cover display with 21:9 aspect ratio. It has 12GB LPDDR4x RAM, internal storage capacity of 512GB (UFS 2.1). It has a Side-mounted Fingerprint Sensor.
It is armed with Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 7nm processor with Adreno 640 GPU and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie).

The camera section of the foldable smartphone Samsung Galaxy Fold includes a total of six cameras such as triple rear cameras and dual front cameras and a 10-megapixel camera for the front cover display.

Connectivity wise, it features 5G Sub6 / mmWave (28G, 39G), 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ax (2.4/5GHz), VHT80 4×4 MIMO, Bluetooth 5, GPS with GLONASS, USB 3.1, NFC, MST and supports Stereo speakers tuned by AKG, Dolby Atmos.
It is backed up by two batteries with the sum of 4,380mAh battery with fast Charging both on wired and wireless (WPC and PMA) charging.

It has the latest User experience (UX) design which provides several features to the users such as App Continuity , which will automatically show up the section which the users leave after set on of set off the device. It also has the Multi-Active Window, which offers the users to open up to three active apps simultaneously on the main display so that they can do more applications including surfing , text, work, watch and share anything without facing any problem.
The user can get the foldable smartphone Samsung Galaxy Fold in Space Silver, Cosmos Black, Martian Green and Astro Blue colors  in both the 4G and 5G versions.
Its 5G version costs US$ 1,980 (Rs. 1,40,760 approx.) . The foldable smartphone will be available in the US from 26th April via E-commerce merchants such as AT&T and T-Mobile.

There is also highly expectation that the Huawei will also announce a 5G smartphone on 24th February. Let’s hope so!
