Xiaomi Mi 9 SE with triple rear cameras, in-display fingerprint sensor announced
The smartphone Xiaomi Mi 9 SE shared the same platform along with its sibling Xiaomi Mi 9 during announcement in China. It is the successor of the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE that was announced in June last year.
The smartphone Xiaomi Mi 9 SE sports 5.97-inch (1080 × 2280 pixels) Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB / 128GB (UFS 2.1) storage capacity. The smartphone comes with the dimension of 147.5×70.5×7.45mm; weighs 155g and also has dual-SIM functionality. It has the latest fifth-generation In-display fingerprint sensor and also presents Infrared sensor.
It comes with a gradient holographic rainbow spectrum on its back. Also It is the world’s first smartphone backed by the latest Snapdragon 712 SoC chipset.
It is armed with Octa Core Snapdragon 712 10nm processor (Dual 2.3GHz Kryo 360 + Hexa 1.7GHz Kryo 360 CPUs) with Adreno 616 GPU and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with MIUI 10.
The camera section of the device Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has triple rear cameras including 48MP rear camera with 1/2.0″ Sony IMX586 sensor, 0.8μm pixel size, f/1.75 aperture, LED flash, 8MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size, 13MP ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.4 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size and a front-facing camera of 20MP with 0.9μm pixel size, f/2.0 aperture.
Connectivity wise, it features Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO ), Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC, USB Type-C and it is powered by 3070mAh battery with 18W fast charging but lacks of wireless charging.
The users can get the smartphone Xiaomi Mi 9 SE in Blue, Violet and Dark great colors. The 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version costs 1,999 yuan (US$ 297 / Rs. 21,150 approx.) , while the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs 2,299 yuan (US$ 341 / Rs. 24,330 approx.). The company will start its sale from 1st March in China.
