Apple iPad Air (2019 )and iPad Mini (2019 ) with Apple Pencil support announced

The tech giant Apple announced a couple of iPads namely Apple iPad Air (2019) and Apple iPad Mini (2019). Both have touch ID.
The Apple iPad Air (2019) sports 10.5-inch Retina display with the resolution of 2224 x 1668 pixels, 264ppi, P3 Color Gamut, 500 nits brightness. It has dimension of 250.6x 174.1x 6.1mm; and weighs 456g (WiFi) / 464g (4G).
It is armed with Octa-Core A12 Bionic 7nm chip with 64-bit architecture and M12 motion co-processor and runs on iOS 12. It has the 64GB/256GB storage versions.
The camera section of the Apple iPad Air (2019) includes 8MP camera with f/2.4 aperture, 5P lens, Hybrid IR filter and a 7MP front-facing FaceTime HD camera with f/2.2 aperture, Retina Flash.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G LTE (optional), Wi‑Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz); HT80 with MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0 and supports Dual microphones for calls, Stereo speakers. It is backed up by 30.2-watt-hour rechargeable lithium-polymer battery.
The users can get the 10.5-inch iPad Air in Silver, Space Gray and Gold colors.
The iPad Air is priced at Rs. 44,900 ($499) for the Wi-Fi model and Rs. 55,900 ($629) for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model for the US markets.
While the other Apple iPad Mini (2019) sports 7.9-inch (2048 x 1536 pixels) Retina display with P3 Color Gamut, 500 nits brightness, 326 ppi. It has the dimension of 203.2x 134.8x 6.1mm; and weighs 300.5g (WiFi) / 308.2g (4G).
The iPad Mini comes with Apple Pencil support, a new advanced Retina display panel with True Tone technology and wide color support.
It is armed with Octa-Core A12 Bionic 7nm chip with 64-bit architecture and M12 motion co-processor and runs on iOS 12. It has 64GB/256GB variants.
The camera section of the Apple iPad Mini (2019) includes rear camera of 8MP camera with f/2.4 aperture, 5P lens, Hybrid IR filter and a 7MP front-facing FaceTime HD camera with f/2.2 aperture, Retina Flash.

Connectivity wise, it features 4G LTE (optional), Wi‑Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz); HT80 with MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0 and supports Dual microphones for calls, Stereo speakers. It is backed up by 19.1-watt-hour rechargeable lithium-polymer battery.
The users have the option to get the Apple iPad Mini (2019) in Silver, Space Gray and Gold colors.
The Apple iPad mini costs Rs. 34,900 ($399) for the Wi-Fi model and Rs. 45,900 ($529) for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model.
The company also offers Apple Pencil at Rs. 8,500 ($99) . The Smart Keyboard for the iPad Air is available at Rs. 13,900 ( $159).
The Polyurethane Smart Covers for iPad mini is priced at Rs. 3500 ($39), while the iPad Air in charcoal grey, white, pink sand and a new papaya color costs Rs. 4500 ($49). Also the Leather Smart Covers available for iPad Air in black, saddle brown, midnight blue, and red is available at $69.
Both the iPad models will be launched in India soon, as the company confirmed.
