Honor Play 8 with Android 9 Pie announced at 599 yuan (US$ 87)
The smartphone Honor Play 8A was announced in January this year and now the Huawei’s sub-brand Honor announced a latest smartphone Honor Play 8 at 599 yuan (US$ 87 / Rs. 5,960 approx.) in China and adds one more member in its Honor play series smartphones.
The smartphone Honor Play 8 sports 5.71-inch HD+ waterdrop notch 19:9 IPS LCD screen display with the resolution of 1520 × 720 pixels , pixel density of 294PPI. It has 2GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 32GB, which can be further expandable up to 512GB via microSD card slot. The fingerprint sensor is not present on it. It has dual-SIM (nano + nano + microSD) functionality and weighs 146g.
It is armed with 2.0GHz Quad-Core (ARM Cortex A53) MediaTek Helio A22 12nm Processor with IMG PowerVR GE8300 GPU and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMUI 9.0.
The camera section of the device Honor Play 8 includes a 13MP rear camera with LED flash with f/1.8 aperture and a front-facing camera of 5MP with f/2.2 aperture.
Connectivity wise, it features Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS and it is backed up by 3020mAh battery.
The users can get the device Honor Play 8 in Magic Night Black and Aurora Blue colors. The company has already started its sale in China via Honor’s Vmall store and also they can get it through the reputed e-commerce retailers.
