LG K50S and LG K40S announced with Military level durability and Dedicated Google Assistant Button
The smartphone manufacturer LG announced a couple of smartphones namely LG K50S and LG K40S smartphones and add more devices in its K -series smartphones. These are the successors of LG K50 and LG K40 respectively that were announced in February this year.
The smartphones will be the limelight of the IFA 2019 show which will be held on next month.
Both the smartphones have received the MIL-STD-810G certification (Military level durability) which makes it face tough environmental conditions and makes it durable in various conditions such as vibration, high temperature, low temperature, thermal shock, and humidity. Both of them also features DTS:X 3D Surround Sound that offers a better experience to those users during playing games, streaming movies or music via earphones.
These devices also have a dedicated Google Assistant button which allows the users to activate and modify vocal shortcut commands in order to perform actions on their device or configuring it as a hub for home automation. Or, we can say that Google Assistant is an artificial intelligence-powered virtual assistant that can engage in two-way conversations.
The smartphone LG K50S sports 6.5-inch HD+ 19.5:9 aspect ratio FullVision display with the resolution of 1520 × 720 pixels. It has 3GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 32GB, which can be further expandable up to 2TB via microSD card slot. It has Dual- SIM functionality, dimension of 165.8 x 77.5 x 8.2mm . It has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
It is armed with 2GHz Octa-Core Processor and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie).
The camera section of the smartphone LG K50S features triple rear cameras including 13MP rear camera with LED flash, PDAF, 5MP Ultra-Wide sensor, 2MP depth sensor and a front-facing camera of 13MP.
Connectivity wise, it features Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS + GLONASS and it is backed up by 4,000mAh battery.
The other smartphone LG K40S sports 6.1-inch HD+ 19.5:9 aspect ratio FullVision display with the resolution of 1520 × 720 pixels. It has 2GB / 3GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 32GB , which can be further expandable up to 2TB via microSD card slot. It has Dual- SIM functionality, dimension of 156.3 x 73.9 x 8.6mm and also features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
It is armed with 2GHz Octa-Core Processor and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie).
The camera section section of the smartphone LG K40S includes dual 13MP rear camera with LED flash, PDAF, 5MP Ultra-Wide sensor and a front-facing camera of 13MP.
Connectivity wise it includes Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS + GLONASS and it is backed up by 3,500mAh battery.
The smartphones LG K50S and K40S will be available in New Aurora Black and New Moroccan Blue and the company will make it available in Europe, Latin America and Asia from October this year and the cost of the devices will be known on launching.
