Vivo S5 with 8GB RAM, 348MP quad rear cameras announced
The smartphone manufacturer Vivo announced its latest smartphone Vivo S5 and added one more device in the Vivo S series smartphones.
The smartphone Vivo S5 with a 3D glass back sports 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with the resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels. It has 8GB LPPDDR4x RAM with 128GB / 256GB storage capacity . It has the dimension of 157.9×73.92×8.64mm; weighs 188g. It has Dual- SIM functionality and also features an In-display Fingerprint sensor.
It is armed with Octa Core Snapdragon 712 10nm Mobile Platform (Dual 2.3GHz Kryo 360 + Hexa 1.7GHz Kryo 360 CPUs) with Adreno 616 GPU and runs on Funtouch OS 9 based on Android 9.0 (Pie).
The camera section of the smartphone Vivo S5 features quad-rear cameras including 48MP rear camera with f/1.79 aperture, LED flash, 8MP wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, 5MP depth sensor with f/2.48 aperture, 2MP for macro with f/2.4 aperture and a front-facing camera of 32MP with f/2.45 aperture.
Connectivity wise, it includes Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C and it supports 3.5mm audio jack . It is backed up by 4100mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging.
The users can get the smartphone Vivo S5 in Black, Blue and Light Blue colors. The 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version has the price tag of 2698 yuan (US$ 384 / Rs. 27,640 approx.) , while the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version is priced at 2998 yuan (US$ 427 / Rs. 30,715 approx.) . The pre-order for the device will be started from 15th November and the company will make it available in China from 22nd November .
