Motorola Edge+ with 108MP triple cameras, 5000mAh battery and Motorola Edge announced

The smartphone manufacturer Motorola announced flagship smartphones namely Motorola Edge+ and Motorola Edge  with 5G connectivity. Both the phones support 5G connectivity and also the Motoroa Edge+ is the first smartphone to be packed with 108MP triple rear cameras.

The smartphone Motorola Edge+ sports 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED 19.5:9 aspect ratio HDR10 + display with the resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels, having Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has 12GB LPPDDR5 RAM , internal storage capacity of 256GB UFS 3.0. It comes with the dimension of 161.07 x 71.38 x 9.6mm; weighs 203g and has Dual SIM (nano + nano) functionality. It has Water-repellent body and also features an In-display fingerprint sensor.

The smartphone also includes all the moto experiences like turning on the flash light with a simple chop gesture, launching the camera with the twist of a wrist. It also features additional features such as the new edge display interactions, My UX offers custom settings and advanced controls for music, videos and games. It also make the users to create their own device themes by choosing from unique fonts, colors, icon shapes, and fingerprint sensor animations.

It is armed with Octa Core (1 x 2.84GHz + 3 x 2.42GHz + 4 x 1.8GHz Hexa) Snapdragon 865 7nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 650 GPU and runs on Android 10.

The camera section of the smartphone Motorola Edge+ features triple 108MP rear camera with 1/ 1.33″ Samsung sensor, 0.8μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, OIS, Laser autofocus, 16MP 117° ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, macro mode, 8MP telephoto lens with OIS for 3x optical zoom, f/2.4 aperture, 6k at 30fps, 4k 60fps and a front-facing camera of 25MP with 0.9µm, f/2.0 aperture.

Connectivity wise, it includes 5G SA/NSA Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, NFC, USB Type-C and supports 3.5mm headset jack and also packed with Dual stereo speakers tuned by Waves, recipient of a Technical GRAMMY Award.

It is backed up by a massive 5000mAh battery with 18W wired and 15W wireless fast charging, 5W wireless reverse charging.

The users can get the smartphone Motorola edge+ in Thunder Grey and Smokey Sangria colours.

It will be available In the U.S exclusively on Verizon from 14th May for $41.66 per month for 24 months or at retail price of USD 999.99. The company will make it available in Europe in the earlier of May at €1,199 (US$ 1296 / Rs. 99,130 approx.).

The other smartphone Motorola Edge sports 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED 19.5:9 aspect ratio HDR10 + display with the resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels, having Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has 4GB / 6GB LPPDDR4X RAM with 128GB UFS 2.1 internal storage,which can be expandable up to 1TB with microSD card slot. It has Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD) functionality. It comes with the dimension of 161.64 x 71.1 x 9.29mm;and weighs 188g. It has an In-display fingerprint sensor and also features Water-repellant body with IP52 ratings.

It is armed with Octa Core (1 x 2.4GHz + 1 x 2.2GHz + 6 x 1.8GHz Kryo 475 CPUs) Snapdragon 765G 7nm EUV Mobile Platform with Adreno 620 GPU and runs on Android 10.

The camera section of the smartphone Motorola Edge features triple 64MP rear camera with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, Laser auto focus, 16MP 117° ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, 8MP telephoto lens for 2x optical zoom, f/2.4 aperture and a front-facing camera of 25MP with 0.9µm, f/2.0 aperture.

Connectivity wise, it includes 5G SA/NSA Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C and supports 3.5mm audio jack, Dual stereo speakers tuned by Waves. It is packed up by a 4500mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

The users have the option to get the smartphone Motorola Edge in Solar Black and Midnight Magenta colours at €699 (US$ 756 / Rs. 57,810 approx.). It will be first available in Italy followed by the other European countries. The U.S users will get the device later this year.

There is expectation that it will be launched in Indian markets in coming days.
