Asus Zenfone AR launched with 8GB RAM, Tango and Daydream support in India @ Rs. 49,999
A couple of months ago, the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer Asus launched the smartphone Asus Zenfone Live in Indian market at the cost of Rs.9999.Now the company launched its latest flagship smartphone Asus Zenfone AR with 8GB RAM and Tango and Daydream support at the cost of Rs. 49,999. The device comes with a new “immersive” five-magnet speaker that supports High-Res Audio and DTS virtual surround sound.
As the device Asus Zenfone AR comes with Tango AR and Daydream VR technology, where Tango enables the smartphone to track motion and understand depth and space, and it’s a fundamental enabling technology for both virtual and augmented reality. It also provides indoor directions and place digital objects in the space around us. While Google’s Daydream VR platform is easy to use, and it enables the users to optimize things like sensors and displays for VR. This feature makes the users to capture what they are seeing, as well as cast their virtual world right onto the screen.
The smartphone Asus Zenfone AR (ZS571KL) features Quad HD Super AMOLED display of 5.7-inch with the resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels, dimension of 158.67 x 77.7 x 4.6 ~ 8.95 mm and weighs 170g .It has the Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection, 8GB LPDDR4 RAM, internal storage capacity of 128GB (UFS 2.0), which can be further expanded up to 2TB via microSD card slot. It is armed with 2.3GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 821 processor with Adreno 530 GPU and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) with Zen UI 3.0. It has Hybrid dual –SIM functionality and has a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button.
The camera section of the smartphone Asus Zenfone AR includes a rear camera of 23MP with dual-tone LED Flash, Sony IMX318 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 6P Largan lens, 4-axis OIS, 3-axis EIS, Laser AF and a front-facing camera of 8MP, f/2.0 aperture, 85-degree wide-viewing angle. It has built-in Mono 5 magnet speaker, ASUS SonicMaster 3.0, DTS Headphone: X for virtual 7.1 surround sound Hi-Res Audio 192 kHz/24-bit standard, NXP Smart AMP technology.
Connectivity wise options, it features 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac5 GHz 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C and it is powered by 3300mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
