Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S to announce on 27th March

A number of rumors and reports about the upcoming smartphone Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S have already made the rounds of the web and finally a latest information by the Xiaomi via its Weibo account confirmed that the phablet Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S will be announced on 27^th March after the MWC,2018. Earlier there was expectation that it will be announced at MWC, 2018 event. The device will be powered by Snapdragon 845 chipset. The leaked poster revealed 273,741 which is undoubtedly the score gained by the device Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S on AnTuTu benchmark.

According to the latest rumor, the device Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S will sport 5.99” screen with 18:9 ratio and Full HD+ resolution.It will come with a facial recognition sensor, 8GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 256GB. It will be powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC chipset and will run on Android Oreo.
It will feature a 12-megpaixel RGB sensor and a 12-megapixel monochrome sensor. The device will have a single rear camera with Sony IMX363 sensor.

The cost of the device Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S hasn’t declared by the company yet, but it is expected that will be available at 3,000 Yuan (~$466).

It’s predecessor Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 launched in September, 2017 and comes with a ceramic body and uses Cantilever piezoelectric ceramic acoustic system instead of a standard earpiece, which allows the users to listen the calls without the earpiece.

The device Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features 5.99-inch (2160 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 18:9 display with 1500:1 contrast ratio, DCI-P3 color gamut, 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB / 128GB / 256GB (UFS 2.1) storage , 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB storage (Special Edition).

It is powered by 2.45GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 64-bit 10nm processor with Adreno 540 GPU and runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) with MIUI 9. It has dual-SIM functionality.
The camera section of the device Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 will feature a 12MP rear camera with Sony IMX386 sensor, 1.25μm pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, 4-axis OIS, 4K video recording and a front-facing camera of 5MP with facial recognition, 1080p video recording.
It has the dimension of 151.8x 75.5 ×7.7 mm and weighs 185g (Standard); also its special edition comes with the dimension of 150.5x 74.6 ×7.7 mm and weighs 187g.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, USB Type-C. It is powered by 3400mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging.
