OnePlus 6 with 8GB RAM, dual rear cameras announced
The flagship smartphone OnePLus 6 was spotted earlier of this month and now the device finally announced just one day before on 16th May at an event in London. Earlier there was expectation that it will be announced on 17th May. It is the successor of the OnePlus 5 that was announced in June last year.
The smartphone OnePlus 6 with a glass back sports 6.28-inch (2280 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio AMOLED display with with a notch protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It has 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB (UFS 2.1) storage, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.1) / 256GB (UFS 2.1) storage capacity. It has the dimension of 155.7×75.35×7.75mm and weighs 177g.
It is armed with 2.8GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 10nm processor with Adreno 630 GPU and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with OxygenOS 5.1. It has a water resistant body , dual-SIM functionality and a fingerprint sensor on its back.
The camera section of the device OnePlus 6 includes 16MP rear camera with dual LED Flash, f/1.7 aperture, 1/2.6″ Sony IMX519 sensor, 1.22μm pixel size, OIS, EIS, secondary 20MP camera with Sony IMX376K sensor, f/1.7 aperture, 1.0μm pixel size, 480 fps slo-mo at 720p, 240 fps at 1080p, 4k at 60 fps and a front-facing camera of 16MP with Sony IMX 371 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 1.0μm pixel size.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C and it is powered by 3300mAh battery with Dash Charge (5V – 4A) and supports 3.5mm audio jack .
The users have the option to get the device OnePlus 6 in 6GB RAM with 64GB version in Mirror Black at $529 (Rs. 35,825 approx.) / €519 / £469 while the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version in Mirror Black, Midnight Black and limited-edition Silk White at $579 (Rs. 39,210 approx.) / €569/ £519 and the high-end 8GB RAM with 256GB storage Midnight Black version is priced at $629 (Rs. 42,600 approx.) / €619 / £569 and the company will make it available from 5th June.
