ZTE nubia Z18 with 8GB RAM, AI dual rear cameras announced in China
The smartphone manufacturer ZTE announced its latest flagship smartphone ZTE nubia Z18 in China and adds one more member in the ‘Z series’.
The smartphone ZTE nubia Z18 has glass back with all-metal Aluminum alloy frame sports 5.99-inch FHD+ In-Cell 2.5D curved glass display with the resolution of 2160 × 1080 pixels, 18:9 as and also has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has 6GB LPDDR4 RAM with 64GB (UFS 2.1) storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage capacity. The device has dual-SIM functionality, dimension of 148.58×72.54×8.55mm and weighs 172g. It has a fingerprint sensor on its back.
It is armed with 2.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 845 64-bit 10nm processor with Adreno 630 GPU and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with nubia UI 6.0.
The camera section of the device ZTE nubia Z18 includes dual 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/1.6 aperture, PDAF, OIS, EIS, 24MP secondary rear camera with f/1.6 aperture and a front-facing camera of 8MP with wide-angle lens, f/2.0 aperture. It has AI scene recognition.
Connectivity wise, it includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C and is backed up by 3450mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging.
The users can get the device ZTE nubia Z18 in Midnight Black and Nebula Red colors. The 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version costs 2799 yuan (US$ 409 / Rs. 29,350 approx.) and the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version is priced at 3299 yuan (US$ 482 / Rs. 34,590 approx.). The Limited Edition Van Gogh Starlight Collector’s Edition will be available at 3,599 yuan (US$ 526 / Rs. 37,740 approx.). The company will make it available from 11th September in China.
