Oppo A55 with 50MP rear camera, up to 6GB RAM, 5000mAh battery launched in India
The smartphone manufacturer Oppo launched its latest smartphone Oppo A55 in the Indian markets with mid-end specifications. It is the successor of the Oppo A54.
The smartphone Oppo A55 sports 6.51-inch HD+19:9 punch-hole display with the resolution of 1600 ×720 pixels, NEG T2X-1 glass protection. It has 4GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB (eMMC 5.1) storage / 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB (eMMC 5.1) storage capacity which cab be further expandable with microSD card. It has dual-SIM functionality and features Side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The device comes with Splash resistant with IPX4 ,which protects it from accidental water splashes only.
It is armed with 2.3GHz Octa Core MediaTek Helio G35 processor with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU and runs on ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11. It comes with the dimension of 163.6× 75.7 × 8.4mm ; and weighs 193g.
The camera section of the smartphone Oppo A55 features triple rear cameras including 50MP rear camera with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, 2MP macro and 2MP depth camera with f/2.4 aperture and a front-facing camera of 16MP with f/2.0 aperture.
Connectivity wise, it features Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4+5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C and is backed up by massive 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging , that can charge up to 33% in 30 minutes.
The Indian users can get the device Oppo A55 in Starry Black and Rainbow Blue colours.
At present the Oppo A55 is available in two versions . The 4GB with 64 GB storage costs Rs.15,490, while the 6GB with 128GB version is priced at Rs.17,490.The users can get it on Amazon.in and also from offline stores as well from 3rd October, while its top version 6GB will be available from 11th October.
