Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ announced
At last, Samsung stopped all the rumors floating on the web related to its latest couple of smartphones Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ just after its announcement in New York. Both the smartphones features Infinity Display with bezel-less screen. Now the users can’t find the hardware home buttons that were built on devices and the part of Samsung’s technology for long time, it is now replaced by newly software buttons.
There is no much difference in both the devices. The higher model Galaxy S8+ is superior to Galaxy S8 in display size, dimension, and capacity of battery. These are the basic features which makes Samsung Galaxy S8+ better than Samsung S8.
The smartphone Samsung Galaxy S8 sports 5.8-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with the resolution of 2960 × 1440 pixels, 570ppi, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has 4GB LPDDR4 RAM with 64GB storage (UFS 2.1), which can be further expanded upto 256GB via microSD card slot.
It is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 with Adreno 540 GPU / Octa-Core Samsung Exynos 9 Series 8895 processor with Mali-G71 MP20 GPU and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat). It has a Single / Hybrid Dual SIM functionality. It has the dimension of 148.9 x 68.1 x 8.0mm and weighs 152g.
It has 12MP Dual Pixel rear camera with LED Flash, f/1.7 aperture, 1/2.55″ sensor size, OIS, 1.4µm pixel size and an 8MP auto focus front-facing camera with f/1.7 aperture, 1/3.6″ sensor size, 1.22µm pixel size, 80-degree wide-angle lens. It has Water and dust resistant (IP68) body. It supports Ultra High Quality Audio Playback PCM: Up to 32 bits; DSD: DSD64/128.

The users can get the smartphones Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ come in Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, Coral Blue, Arctic Silver, and Maple Gold versions. The Galaxy S8 costs $750 (Rs. 48,660 approx.) and the Galaxy S8+ priced at $850 (Rs. 55,140 approx.), depending on the U.S. carrier. The company also offers earphones tuned by AKG by Harman, which will be available separately for $99 (Rs. 6420 approx.). The pre-order of the devices have already been started and the shipment of both the models will be started on 21st April, 2017.
Samsung has not announced the date for its arrival in the Indian market, but there is expectation that it might launch the device in India in the last of April or in May, 2017.
