Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 likely to launch in Second Half of this year
We have the latest information through a Chinese analyst Pan Jiutang via Chinese microblogging website that the company Xiaomi is likely to launch its latest smartphone Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 in second half of this year. It will be the successor of the Xiaomi Mi Mix that was launched in October last year.
The report didn’t reveal much about the specifications except that it will come with the in-display fingerprint sensor and also added that it will have no physical buttons. Hence, it will be the first smartphone from Xiaomi without physical buttons.
As we know its predecessor Xiaomi Mi Mix comes with a bezel-less design and has a ceramic body. It sports full HD display of 6.4-inch with the resolution of 2040 x 1080 pixels. It has two storage versions including the one with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal memory and the other with 6GB RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. It is powered by 2.35GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 821 64-bit processor with Adreno 530 GPU and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with MIUI 8. It comes with Dual- SIM functionality. It has the dimension of 158.8 x 81.9 mm x 7.9 mm, weighs 209 g and a Fingerprint sensor on its back.
The smartphone Xiaomi Mi MIX features a rear camera of 16MP with dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, 4K video recording and a front-facing camera of 5MP.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G VoLTE , WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4/5 GHz) MU-MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C, NFC3.5mm and also includes an audio jack. It is powered by 4400mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.
