Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ to launch in South Africa on 6th May
Just after the announcement of Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8+ last month, the smartphone manufacturer has selected the new market of South Africa for its launching, which will be held just after 2 days on 6th May. Such information is confirmed by the official teaser on its twitter added with a 28-second video and a quote: ‘Something BIG is coming! Join us to celebrate the launch of the #GalaxyS8 and #GalaxyS8+’. The teaser also came with another catchphrase: We make what can’t be made. So you can do what can’t be done. Do what you can’t.
The 28-second teaser video shows an underwater diver caged into a phone-like box (phone with big bezels) which he breaks off and escapes.
The cost of the device for the UK market is still unknown, it will be known on its launching. As we know the Galaxy S8 costs $750 (Rs. 48,660 approx.) and the Galaxy S8+ priced at $850 (Rs. 55,140 approx.).
