Huawei filed a patent for foldable display smartphone
Recently, the Samsung filed a patent for unique expandable display smartphone with three display panels. Now one more smartphone manufacturer Huawei filed a patent for a foldable display smartphone that opens and closes like a book. Since, the patent was filed on 19th September last year with WIPO and now it is released and revealed its mechanism, looks much similar to the Microsoft Surface Book with a bit gap.
It will come with a foldable single large flexible display panel, which will be opened and closed in the middle , different from the existing dual display smartphone ZTE Axon M . After fully opened , it will become a tablet -sized device . Except these, the patent hasn’t revealed much details including how it works.
The Huawei foldable smartphone has one large flexible display that can be opened and closed in the middle by means of a folding mechanism.
The device has two screens, but there is still a small gap between them that needs to be fixed .So according to Richard Yu, the CEO of Huawei’s Consumer Business Group, the company is trying to solve the issue related to the gap and in this regard works hard for better mechanical design and looks positive towards it.
