Huawei P20 Pro with Leica triple rear cameras set to launch in India on 24th April
Recently , the Huawei P20 Pro teaser revealed its arrival in India this month and now the smartphone manufacturer finally set 24th April for its launching in Indian market and it sent out invites for its launching . The invite also shows “SEE MOOORE” which raises the expectation of the launching of one more device from the same platform, which may be Huawei P20 Lite.
As we know both the smartphones Huawei P20 Pro with Leica triple rear cameras and Huawei P20 Lite with dual rear cameras have already announced .
The smartphone Huawei P20 Lite sports 5.84-inch (1080 x 2280 pixels) Full HD+ 19: 9 2.5D curved glass display. It has 4GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 64GB, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card slot. It is armed with Octa-Core Kirin 659 processor (4 xA53 at 2.36GHz + 4 x A53 at 1.7GHz) with MaliT830-MP2 GPU and runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo) with EMUI 8.0. It has Single / Dual SIM functionality.
The camera section of the device Huawei P20 Lite includes a 16MP rear camera with LED flash with face beauty, secondary 2MP camera and a 16MP front-facing camera. It has the dimension of 148.6×71.2×7.4mm, weighs 145g and a fingerprint sensor on its back.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS / GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C and supports 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio. It is backed up by a 3000mAh battery with fast charging.
The company will make it available in Black; Blue and Rose Gold colors.
The other flagship smartphone Huawei P20 Pro with curved glass body sports 6.1-inch Full HD+ OLED 2.5D curved glass display with the resolution of 2240 x 1080 pixels. It has 6GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 128GB . It has single/dual SIM functionality, dimension of 155 x 73.9 x 7.8 mm; and weighs 180g.
It is armed with Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 970 (4 x 2.4 GHz A73+ 4 x 1.8 GHz A53) 10nm processor + i7 co-processor,Mali-G72 MP12 GPU, NPU and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with EMUI 8.1 (Emotion UI 8.1) and also support for Google AR Core.
The camera section of the device Huawei P20 Pro comes with triple rear cameras including Leica triple-lens camera with 40-megapixel RGB sensor, a 20-megapixel monochrome sensor and an 8-megapixel sensor with telephoto lens with f/1.8, f/1.6 and f/2.4 wide aperture, dual-tone LED flash and new Leica 3x telephoto (VARIO-SUMMILUX-H 1:1.6-2.4/27-80ASPH) lens for long-range photography of up to 5x Hybrid Zoom. It can capture low light photos with up to ISO 102400. It has dual-tone LED flash, laser focus, deep focus, PDAF, CAF, 960fps super slo-mo. It has also comes with a front-facing camera of 24MP with with AI beautification , Sony IMX576 sensor, f/2.0 aperture. It supports 960fps super slow motion. It also has AI image stabilisation that allows the users to capture magnificent blur-free, handheld shots in low-light using Night Mode.
Connectivity wise, it includes Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C and supports USB Type-C Audio, HiFi audio with HWA, Stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos. It is powered by 4000mAh battery with fast charging.
The Huawei P20 Pro will be available in Black, Twilight, Pink Gold and Midnight Blue colors .
The company has not declared the cost of the devices for the Indian market yet, but it is expected that it will be lesser than than the cost at which it is available in Europe. As we know Huawei P20 Pro was announced at 899 Euros (US$ 1,114 / Rs. 72,350 approx.) and P20 Lite was arrived with a cost of 369 Euros (US$ 458 / Rs. 29,740 approx.) . The launching of the third device of Huawei P20 in India is still unconfirmed.
