Huawei Honor Play with 6GB RAM, AI dual rear cameras to launch in India on 6th August
Just after the launching of Huawei Honor 9N in India , the Huawei’s sub-brand Honor confirmed the launching of one more device Huawei Honor Play in the Indian market on 6th August via Amazon.in . Since, the device was announced in China last month at 2399 yuan (US$ 354 / Rs. 24,360 approx.) .
The smartphone Huawei Honor Play sports Full HD+ LCD 19:5:9 2.5D curved glass display of 6.3-inch with the resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. It has 6GB LPDDR4X RAM, internal storage capacity of 64GB (UFS 2.1) , which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card slot. It has Hybrid Dual SIM functionality and has a Fingerprint sensor. It has the dimension of 157.91×74.27×7.84mm; and weighs 176g.
It is armed with Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 970 (4 x 2.4 GHz A73+ 4 x 1.8 GHz A53) 10nm processor with Mali-G72 MP12 GPU, i7 co-processor, NPU, GPU Turbo and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with EMUI 8.2.
The camera section of the device Huawei Honor Play includes dual rear camera of 16MP with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, CAF, AI scene recognition secondary 2MP rear camera with f/2.4 aperture and a front-facing camera of 16MP with f/2.0 aperture.
Connectivity wise, it features Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C and supports 3.5mm audio jack, 7.1-channel Histen audio. It is backed up by 3750mAh battery with fast charging.
The cost of the device for the Indian users is still not confirmed by the company yet, it will be known on its launching.
