Oppo R17 set to launch on 23rd August in China
Recently, the smartphone manufacturer Oppo officially confirmed the detailed specifications of the smartphone Oppo R17 on its official website and now the company has finally declared the date of its launching on 23rd August in China along with other details via Weibo account, such that the pre-order of the smartphone Oppo R17 will be started from 18th August at 10:00 AM and the company will make it available from 23rd August.
Since, the the purported image of the upcoming smartphone Oppo R17 and R17 Pro already received the 3C certification in China.
Now as per the Oppo’s official website listing, the smartphone Oppo R17 has Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection sports 6.4-inch Full HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio display with the resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. It has 8GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 128GB . It has dual-SIM functionality.
It is armed with Octa-Core Snapdragon 670 10nm processor with Adreno 615 GPU and runs on ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 (Oreo).
The device Oppo R17 includes dual rear camera of 16MP with LED flash but the resolution of the secondary camera hasn’t mentioned by the company .It has a front-facing camera of 25MP with f/2.0 aperture, AI, Sony IMX576 sensor with 3D Portrait with AI-powered Beauty mode which helps the users to capture he magnificent selfies.
It also comes with In-display fingerprint sensor and also rear-mounted fingerprint sensor with its affordable version.
Connectivity wise, it includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C, and Dual 4G VoLTE. It is backed up by a 3500mAh battery with VOOC Flash Charge.
The cost of the device Oppo R17 is still unconfirmed by the company yet , but it is expected that the 8GB RAM with 128 GB storage capacity will be available at 2,999 yuan (Rs.30,500 approx.) in China.
There is still uncertainty weither the sibling Oppo R17 Pro will share the same platform for launching or will be launched later in another event, we will get confirmation in 6-7 days.
