Xiaomi Redmi 7A with splash-proof body launched in India, Price starts at Rs. 5799
At last the Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi launched the latest affordable smartphone Xiaomi Redmi 7A in the Indian market at fixed schedule as stated recently. It is the successor of the Redmi 6A that was announced in June last year.
The smartphone Xiaomi Redmi 7A has a polycarbonate body and sports 5.45-inch 18:9 2.5D curved glass display with the resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels. It has 2GB RAM with 16GB / 32GB storage capacity, which can be expandable up to 256GB via microSD card slot. It has the dimension of 146.30×70.41×9.55mm; weighs 150g and has dual-SIM (nano + nano / microSD) functionality.
It is armed with Octa-Core (Quad 1.95GHz Cortex A53 + Quad 1.45GHz Cortex A53) Snapdragon 439 Mobile Platform with Adreno 505 GPU and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with MIUI 10.
It has Splash proof body with P2i nano coating ,which provides protection from humidity and weather, to splashes and spills and even accidental submersion and also from oils, grease and sweat.
It has a Family Guardian app with SOS Emergency Help option for the security of the kids.
The camera section of the device Xiaomi Redmi 7A includes a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, PDAF and a front-facing camera of 5MP with support for AI face unlock and beautify.
Connectivity wise, it features Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and supports 3.5mm audio jack, Wireless FM Radio. It is backed up by 4000mAh built-in battery.
The users can get the smartphone Redmi 7A in Matte Blue, Matte Gold and Matte Black colors.
The 2GB RAM with 16GB storage version is priced at Rs. 5799 only for July after that it will be available at Rs. 5999), while the 2GB RAM with 32GB storage version has the price tag of Rs. 5999 for July only and after this month, the users will get it at Rs. 6199).
The company will make it available from 11th July via Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home stores and they will also avail warranty of 2 years after buying it.
