Xiaomi Redmi 8A with massive 5000mAh battery launched in India, Price starts at Rs. 6499
Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi launched its latest affordable smartphone Redmi 8A in the Indian market . It is the successor of the Xiaomi Redmi 7A that was launched in India in July this year.
The smartphone Xiaomi Redmi 8A with plastic back with Aura wave grip design sports 6.2-inch HD+ 19:9 2.5D curved glass display with with the resolution of 1520 × 720 pixels, having Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has 2GB RAM / 3GB RAM with internal storage of 32GB , which can be further expandable up to 512GB via microSD card slot. It has the dimension of 156.3×75.4×9.4mm; weighs 188g and has dual-SIM (nano + nano + microSD) functionality.
The fingerprint sensor is not present in the device but it features face unlock. It comes with splash-resistant P2i coating ,which make it safe from the everyday splashes and spills.
It is armed with Octa-Core (Quad 1.95GHz Cortex A53 + Quad 1.45GHz Cortex A53) Snapdragon 439 Mobile Platform with Adreno 505 GPU and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with MIUI 10.
The camera section of the smartphone Xiaomi Redmi 8A includes 12MP rear camera with LED flash, Sony IMX363 sensor, 1.4μm pixel size, f/1.9 aperture, Dual PD auto focus and a front-facing camera of 8MP.
Connectivity wise, it features iDual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C and supports 3.5mm audio jack, Wireless FM Radio.It is backed up by 5000mAh (typical) battery with 18W fast charging.
The users can get Xiaomi Redmi 8A in Midnight Black, Ocean Blue and Sunset Red colors.
The 2GB RAM with 32GB storage version costs Rs. 6499,while the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version has the price tag of Rs. 6999.The company will make it available from 29th September via Flipkart and mi.com starting from midnight and the users can get it at Mi Home stores from 30th September.
