Nokia C1 Android (Pie) Go Edition 3G smartphone announced
The HMD Global announced the latest 3G smartphone Nokia C1 under its roof at 5,999 Kenyan Shilling (US$ 59 / Rs. 4,180 approx.). It is the first feature phone upgraded to a smartphone and fully based on traditional design.
The smartphone Nokia C1 sports 5.45-inch FWVGA+ 18:9 display with the resolution of 480 x 960 pixels. It has 1GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 16GB , which can be further expandable up to 64GB via microSD card slot. It has the dimension of 147.6 x 71.4 x 8.7 mm; weighs 155g and has Single / Dual SIM functionality.
It is armed with 1.3GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) Go Edition.
The camera section of the smartphone Nokia C1 features 5MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash, f/2.4 aperture and a front-facing camera of 5MP with LED flash.
Connectivity wise, the smartphone Nokia C1 includes 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, micro USB and supports 3.5mm jack, FM Radio, Google Assistant Button. It is backed up by 2500mAh removable battery.
The company will make it available in Black and Red colors across Africa, Middle East and APAC very soon.
