LG G6 will be launched in Australia on 28th March 2017
As we know the smarphone LG G6 already announced last month at MWC event, 2017. Now the company has finally decided to launch the device in Australian market on 28th March, 2017. It will be available to the Australian users via the carrier Telstra after its launching.
The device LG G6 is the successor of the LG G5, which was launched in February, 2016.
The smartphone LG G6 sports 5.70-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1440 X 2880 pixels at 564PPI.It has 4GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 32GB,which can be further expanded up to 2000GB (2TB) via a microSD card. It comes with the dimension of 148.90 x 71.90 x 7.90mm and weighs 163gm.It is powered by Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 821chipset with Quad-core processor with Adreno 530GPU and runs on Android v7.0 (Nougat). It has certified by IP68 rating, which makes it safe from dust/water proof over 1.5 meter for 30 minutes and Water resistant up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
It comes with Dual rear camera of 13MP with aperture F1.8, OIS, 3-axis image stabilization, laser autofocus, LED flash and a front-facing camera of 5MP with aperture F 2.2.
Connectivity wise, it features Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB OTG, 3G and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope. It is powered by a non-removable battery of 3300mAh.
The Cost of the device LG G6 is still unconfirmed for the Australian users. But the company LG has already unveiled that the device will come with a cost of $800(approx.) for its country users.
For your information, its predecessor LG G5 comes with a metallic unibody with modular design sports a QHD IPS Quantum display of 5.3” with the resolutions of 2560×1440 pixels, pixel density of 554ppi and covered with a 3D arc glass It is powered by the latest 64-bit Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor with Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It comes with the internal storage capacity of 32GB, which can be further expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card slot. The device supports dual-SIM dual standby. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based LG’s UX UI.
The device includes dual rear cameras of 16MP with laser autofocus, dual-tone LED flash, 4K video recording support and the other is an 8MP sensor 135-degree wide-angle lens. It has also front-facing camera of 8MP for capturing selfie. It has the dimension of 149.4 x 73.9 x 7.7 mm and weighs 159 grams.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2 and microUSB Type-C port. It also includes a fingerprint sensor for the security of the device which is situated just below rear camera of the device. It also features an Always-on display that shows the important notifications without switching on the screen.
It is powered by a 2800mAh battery and supports latest Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology. It comes with a unique slide out battery port at the bottom, to make the users to change the battery themselves. It has the modular design and be transformed into LG Cam+, Hi-Fi Plus, and 360 VR.
