Samsung Galaxy A40 with dual rear cameras, Android Pie announced
Just after revealing the specifications, finally the smartphone manufacturer announced the Samsung Galaxy A series smartphone namely Samsung Galaxy A40 with the model number SM-A405F. Since, it is listed on the company’s official website in Europe and fits in right between the existing Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 smartphones.
The smartphone Samsung Galaxy A40 with a 3D Glasstic back sports 5.9-inch Full HD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with the resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. It has 4GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 64GB, which cane be further expandable up to 512GB via micro SD card slot. It has the dimension of 144.3 x 69.1 x 7.9mm; weighs 140g and has dual-SIM functionality and also feature a fingerprint sensor.
It is armed with Octa-Core Exynos 7904 14nm processor with Mali-G71 GPU and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with Samsung One UI.
The camera section of the device Samsung Galaxy A40 includes dual 16MP rear camera with LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, 5MP ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture and a front-facing camera of 25MP.
Connectivity wise, it features 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C and supports 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio and it is backed up by 3100mAh battery.
The users will get the Samsung Galaxy A40 in Black, Blue, White and Orange colors at 249 Euros (US$ 282 / Rs. 19,520 approx.) and there is expectation that the company will make it available in Europe from 10th April. Still there is no word on its global launching yet, it will be confirmed very soon.
