Oppo Reno versions with 10x Zoom announced

At last the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo announced its latest flagship Oppo Reno in two versions -the Reno and the Reno 10x Zoom Edition at an event in China, as expected earlier. Now the global version of the device will be launched on 24th April in Zurich as leaked by the press invites recently. The company will also announce its 5G version next month.
The Oppo Reno Standard Edition sports 6.4-inch Full HD+ 19:5:9 aspect ratio AMOLED display with the resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels, having Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It has 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.1) storage, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB (UFS 2.1) storage capacity. It has the dimension of 156.6×74.3×9.0mm; weighs 185g and has Dual- SIM functionality. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner.
It is armed with Octa Core Snapdragon 710 10nm (Dual 2.2GHz Kryo 360 + Hexa 1.7GHz Kryo 360 CPUs) processor with Adreno 616 GPU and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS 6.0.
The camera section of the device Oppo Reno includes dual 48MP rear camera with LED flash, 1/2.25″ Sony IMX586 sensor, 0.8um pixel size, f/1.7 aperture, PDAF, CAF, 5MP secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture and a 16MP front-facing camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 79.3° wide angle lens.
Connectivity wise, it features Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C and supports 3.5 mm audio jack, Hi-Res audio, Dolby Atmos. It is backed up by 3765mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging.
The users can get the device Oppo Reno Standard Edition in Green, Pink, Purple and Black colors .
The 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs 2999 yuan (US$ 446 / Rs. 30,895 approx.), while the 6GB RAM with 256GB storage version is priced at 3299 yuan (US$ 491 / Rs. 33,985 approx.) and the top-most 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version has the price tag of 3599 yuan (US$ 535 / Rs. 37,075 approx.).
The pre-order of the device is going on and the company will make it available in china from 16th April.
The other version Oppo Reno 10x Zoom Edition sports 6.6-inch Full HD+ 19:5:9 aspect ratio AMOLED display with the resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels, having Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It has 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.1) storage, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB (UFS 2.1) storage capacity. It has the dimension of 162.0×77.2×9.3mm; weighs 210g and has dual-SIM functionality. It has an In-display fingerprint sensor.
It is armed with Octa-Core Snapdragon 855 7nm Mobile Platform (1 x 2.84GHz Kryo 485 + 3 x 2.42GHz Kryo 485 + 4x 1.80GHz Kryo 485) with Adreno 640 GPU and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS 6.0.
The camera section of the device Oppo Reno 10x Zoom Edition includes 48MP rear camera with LED flash, 1/2.25″ Sony IMX586 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, 0.8um pixel size, OIS, Laser AF, PDAF, CAF, 13MP periscope telephoto lens, f/3.0 aperture, 8MP 120° Ultra Wide Lens with f/2.2 aperture, 10x Hybrid Optical Zoom and a front-facing camera of 16MP with LED flash.
Connectivity wise, it features Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO ), Bluetooth 5, Dual-frequency (L1+L5) GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC, USB Type-C and supports 4065mAh (typical) battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging.
The users can get the Oppo Reno 10X Zoom Edition in Green and Black colors.
The 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs 3999 yuan (US$ 595 / Rs. 41,190 approx.), while the 6GB RAM with 256GB storage version is priced at 4499 yuan (US$ 669 / Rs. 46,345 approx.), while the top-end 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version is tagged with the cost 4799 yuan (US$ 714 / Rs. 49,435 approx.). The confirmed date of its availability is still unknown, but the company will start its sale any time in the middle of May .
