Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S with Snapdragon 660, dual 48MP rear camera launched in India, Price starts at Rs. 10999

A latest smartphone Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S from Xiaomi’s camp launched in the Indian market with mid-end specifications. It is the upgraded version of Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 that was launched for the Indian users in February this year.

The smartphone Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S sports 6.3-inch Full HD+ 19:5:9 2.5D curved glass LTPS in-cell display with the resolution of 2340 ×1080 pixels, having Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has 3GB LPDDR4x RAM with 32GB storage / 4GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB storage version, which can be further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card slot. It has the measurement of 159.21 x 75.21 x 8.1mm; weighs 186g and has Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD) functionality. It has IR sensor and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

It is armed with Octa Core Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 512 GPU and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with MIUI 10.

It has Splash proof body with P2i nano coating ,which provides protection from humidity and weather, to splashes and spills and even accidental submersion and also from oils, grease and sweat.

The camera section of the device Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S includes dual 48MP rear camera with LED Flash, f/1.79 aperture, 1/2″ Samsung GM1 sensor, 0.8μm pixel size, PDAF, EIS, 5MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size and a front-facing camera of 13MP with f/2.0 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size , AI face unlock.

Connectivity wise, it features Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 /5GHz) Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C and supports 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio. It is backed up by 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.

The Indian users can get the device Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S in Onyx Black, Sapphire Blue and Ruby Red colors.

The 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version costs Rs. 10,999 , while the 4GB RAM with 64GB version is priced at Rs. 12,999. The company will start its sale from 23rd May via Flipkart and the users have also the option to get it through Mi.com and Mi Home.
