Samsung Galaxy A80 with 8GB RAM, rotating camera launched in India @ Rs. 47,990
Earlier there was expectation that the latest smartphone Samsung Galaxy A80 will be launched in the Indian market in June this year, but at last the tech giant Samsung launched the smartphone for the Indian users at Rs. 47,990. Since, the device has already announced in Thailand in April this year.
The main attraction of the device is its pop-up rotating camera.
The smartphone Samsung Galaxy A80 with 3D Glass body and a metal frame sports 6.7-inch Full HD+ 20: 9 Super AMOLED display with the resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. It has 8GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 128GB. It has dual-SIM functionality and dimension of 165.2 x 76.5 x 9.3mm. It also features an in-display fingerprint scanner.
It is armed with Octa Core (2.2GHz Dual + 1.8GHz Hexa) Snapdragon 730G Mobile Platform with Adreno 618 GPU and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with Samsung One UI.
The camera section of the device includes rotating camera module with a triple camera setup including 48-megapixel primary rear camera with f/2.0 aperture LED flash, secondary, 8-megapixel 123° ultra wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 3D Depth camera for Live Focus.
During capturing selfies the users have to choose the selfie mode in the camera app, the three cameras automatically pop-up from the back of the phone and rotate to the front.
Connectivity wise, it features Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C and it is backed up by 3700mAh battery with 25W super fast charging.
The users can get the smartphone Samsung Galaxy A80 in Angel Gold, Ghost White and Phantom Black colors and the company will start its pre-order from 22nd July to 31st July and it will be available from 1st August in various retail shops including Samsung Opera House and e-commerce retailers.
