Honor 8A Prime with a fingerprint scanner announced in Russia @ 9990 rubles (US$ 127)
Huawei’s sub-brand Honor announced a latest affordable smartphone Honor 8A Prime in Russia at 9990 rubles (US$ 127 / Rs. 9600 approx.). It is the re-branded version of Honor 8A Pro that was announced in April last year.
The smartphone Honor 8A Prime sports 6.09-inch HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with the resolution of 1560 × 720 pixels , aspect ratio of 19:5:9 .It has 3GB RAM, internal storage capacity of 64GB, which can be further expandable up to 512GB via microSD card slot. It It has a fingerprint sensor and also features face unlock functionality.
The device comes with the dimension of 156.28×73.5×8.0mm; weighs 150g and has Dual -SIM (nano + nano + microSD) functionality.
It is armed with 2.3GHz Octa-Core (ARM Cortex A53) MediaTek Helio P35 12nm Processor with 680 MHz IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMUI 9.0.
The camera section of the smartphone Honor 8A Prime includes a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture and a front-facing camera of 8MP with f/2.0 aperture.
Connectivity wise, it features Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS and it is backed up by 3020mAh battery.
