Samsung W2018 flip-phone receives the FCC certification
A couple of upcoming smartphones Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro (2017) and Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime (2017) have already been spotted on Benchmarks with leaked specifications and both the devices are just waiting behind the doors for their introduction very soon. Now one more namely, Samsung W2018 flip-phone received the FCC certification with leaked specifications.
As per the FCC application, the unannounced Samsung W2018 flipphone with model number R38J906NX2E will come with the connectivity wise options including the NFC, LTE, Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy, Wi-Fi and ANT+ support.
According to the latest rumor, the Samsung W2018 will sport two 4.2-inch 1080p Super AMOLED screens, a 12MP camera on one side and a 5MP on the other. It will be armed with a Snapdragon 835 and will be backed up by 2,300mAh battery.
Since, the Samsung W2018 flipphone has already spotted at TENAA in May, revealed in live images in July and also showed in a big poster last month. Hence, these factors are sufficient to make us believe on the rumor that the flipphone will be announced soon in China on 1st December, as rumored earlier. The cost of the device is still unconfirmed but there is expectation that it will be going to sale in China at $2,000.
