Samsung filed a patent for unique expandable display smartphone
As we know only the smartphone company ZTE has announced a foldable display smartphone ZTE Axon M in the US in October, 2017. Now the tech giant Samsung is looking towards the new technology which targets a smartphones and tablets with unique expandable display and hence in this regard it has already filed a patent for it at a U.S. Patent & Trademark Office back in July 2017 and now the U.S Patent office released the patent publicly.
The released patent hints three display panels and after implementing the unique expandable display technology, the users can expand the display of the upcoming smartphone by simple pulling out both the right and left retractable sides. The smartphone will also carry a fixed display in the center. After the display is expandable, the users have the option to use two extra display portions. It will help the users to enjoy playing games, viewing home videos and widescreen videos. Also if the users will not use the secondary display panels, they are hidden inside the body of the body of the device.
There is no doubt that the expandable display will make it a quite thicker than the existing smartphones.
